Making Friends with the Noises in Our Heads
Bring your open heart, your curious heart, or your shy heart. All hearts are welcome.
From time to time, each of us tunes into different noises, like radio stations in our head, such as “K-Bad” “K-Not Enough,” or “K-I’m the greatest.” How do we listen to who we actually are, rather than all the noise?
How do we love each noise, each condition, in order to unconditionally love? As human beings, how do we welcome both our Human side and our Being side, rather than taking sides?
One way is by welcoming and enjoying the noise without trying to get rid of it. In a safe, supportive, and structured setting, we’ll use movement, touch, and dialogue to embrace each noise and apparent condition as our beloved. Movement will be free form and slow (including being still), and touch will be clothing on, and in the form of relaxing massage or simple holding. All activities are optional, and choices to pass or participate are honored equally. The workshop is structured to allow each person to gently find his or her “tender edge,” and go only as deep as he or she chooses.
Come take a short vacation from working on yourself. In this lively and fun workshop, we’ll talk and listen, move and be still, and give ourselves a chance to receive deep empathy for who and how we are.

“This was a truly nurturing experience. The activities Rick chose for us were relevant, powerful and useful, but more than anything, his mere presence and intention created a safe container that felt very natural.
